Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds probably arrange their work schedules so they don’t overlap when on set, but in terms of promotion both of them are doing the most right now (him for Deadpool & Wolverine, her for It Ends With Us).
It’s a pretty smart strategy – and it IS strategy, not merely a coincidence – to squeeze the most attention out of their appearances without looking like it’s coordinated.
Last week I wrote about George Clooney’s op-ed and how Hollywood stars may approach endorsements for the upcoming US election. Love Island USA has not only overtaken The Bear in streaming numbers, but it’s also matching the popularity of the OG UK version. This is huge and I’m sure even the production team is surprised. Now there’s two questions: which couple will be the next-level break out stars and how does this show maintain momentum?
