Billie Eilish was on Lily Allen and Miquita Oliver’s podcast and talked about how she lost all her friends as a teenager because of work. Once she became famous, she could no longer relate to her peers and that’s completely understandable – she is recording and doing tours and press and they are all in school together, which is its own fragile social eco-system.

This is why the “fame changes people” narrative doesn’t always fit; at 14, everyone is changing and friendships can be precarious. I would bet a lot of adults who become famous lose their friends the same way.

I love the bustier over the white top combination here – it’s Anna Quan. And I really love Halle trying to get out of it, with lots of other celebs offering words of understanding because this sh-t hurts. “Watch my boobs!”

Celebs-in-Italy season has officially begun.

I have a theory about the mega mansion Bennifer 2.0 is trying to unload now. It’s bad vibes. It’s an albatross. It’s excess, which is something that also played into Bennifer 1.0. It’s too big, too expensive (and frankly kind of ugly). It’s not a family home, it’s an office building. And maybe selling it will relieve some pressure.

A new Julia Louis-Dreyfus profile in the New York Times is making headlines because people are saying she “blasted” Jerry Seinfeld or whatever. This is not at all the context of what happened; all she said is there is nothing wrong with being aware of sensitivities (she called it an antenna). And it’s ironic that all sides are trying to grab this and make it something because first of all, Julia has had the most success post-Seinfeld (along with Larry David). And Julia was on Veep, which was the most offside, non-PC, disgustingly funny show. They would use every word, every scenario and take the most jaw-dropping digs at every group and I don’t ever recall anyone being “offended” by that show.

People are not often offended by standups, but I think a lot of famous, rich, established comedians want to feel attacked. A standup is an underdog and it’s hard to be that in a 12-bedrooom mansion, so they create this imaginary adversary so that they can feel edgy.

Currently, Beyoncé’s website is not doing birthday tributes because it is all about Cowboy Carter. But, she took the time to post this on June 7 – Prince’s birthday. Multiple shots on the grid, the highest honour.
