Camila Cabello has gone blonde and not sure if it’s a wig or her real hair, but either way that’s huge to process.

I love a pop star change up.

If you haven’t yet, read Lainey’s piece on Tom Cruise from yesterday, it’s a good one. My favourite quote is, “maybe you have to be strange to be the last remaining movie star.” That hits. Tom gets butts in seats like no one else. The only one who comes close is Leonardo DiCaprio and what do we know about Leo? Next to nothing except that he’s sometimes papped with 24 ¾-year-old models. Is he still vegan? No idea. Where does he live? New York and LA, I think? Any funny anecdotes? Nope. He might be very strange, we just don’t know. Part of what’s helped maintain his privacy is that he’s had no messy divorces, which were big public image hits for people like Tom and Brad Pitt. When people say they’d love to see Leo get married and have kids, I think “why?” If someone wouldn’t be a good life partner, they shouldn’t get married. If they don’t want children, they shouldn’t have them. He seems to know his limits there. And maybe movie stars don’t make the best husbands.

“That greedy skank” – am I late to these videos? If so I don’t care!

I knew as soon as I saw this video we’d have to have a whole discussion over the bath water. Yes, it’s murky and that’s because she’s washing off body makeup (probably after a photo shoot). That kind of makeup up can be pretty cakey,  my guess is she scrubs it off then takes a shower.

The comment section will never know peace.

I don’t blame Charlie XCX but this ending was a shocker. That was like Red Wedding-level twist.

Jia Tolentino’s new essay about hiding her pregnancy from the algorithm is an interesting read, particularly as it feels like every second of fertility is monetized in North American culture, from over-the-counter ovulation trackers (which can get pricey!) to period tracking apps (which can be dangerous and invasive for women in certain states) to the constant ads targeted at new parents. Jia also did a radio interview about it with CBC. Anecdotally, it seems like celebs are trending away from the sponcon-style announcements. Sofia Richie and Hailey Bieber are two great examples of the low-key reveal. Same with Jenna Dewan and Lea Michele. It’s a shift. And where the celebs go, the influencers follow.
