Andy Cohen talked to Busy Philipps about the time Madonna called him a trouble-making queen (no lies detected).
Busy points out something important here: Andy is a fan of pop culture, and so is she. The celebrity fans are valuable to gossip. I would consider Jennifer Lawrence, Mindy Kaling and Ayo Edebiri fans as well. They are all fun and give great interviews because they love gossip as much as we do.
Jared Padalecki went in on CW because, to quote him from this piece with Variety journalist Kate Aurthur, “they can’t fire me again.” It’s that kind of bridge burner.

Sarah Michelle Gellar has a pretty strong following online, something she’s maintained without a podcast or lifestyle brand or any of the typical side hustles. (Although she did have a short-lived baking line called FoodStirs.) She seems choosey about her work and that’s why the news she’s joining the Dexter prequel is news. With so much TV, this is the kind of casting that stands out.
As mentioned yesterday, Justin Timberlake is dipping his toe back into social media. It started with stories and now it’s a grid post about a candy-eating contest. Lainey wrote about it in depth yesterday and I agree about the co-signing of celebrities. Many, many people in his celebrity world still like him and are supporting him. While of course it stings to be unpopular, Justin can still roll up to the Vanity Fair Oscar party or the Met Gala anytime he wants. He will still be in every VIP section. If he decides to speak on it, which I think he will once the legal issues are dealt with, Gayle King is the obvious choice because she knows him and has defended him publicly.
There are some TikTok videos of Miranda Lambert’s husband Brendan at her bar, Casa Rosa, chatting up a woman. The woman he was spotted with has come forward to InTouch (anonymously) to say it was a casual interaction, nothing shady. This explanation actually makes a lot of sense because unless they have an arrangement (and they might, that’s their business), would he risk it at a bar she literally owns, in Nashville of all places? It would get around so fast. That said! She hasn’t posted about him since May 1.
In this album, there’s a video of feet (presumably Priyanka Chopra’s) being rubbed with garlic. A quick Google search tells me it is for inflammation – does it work? And how long until Goop or a Kardashian picks this up and starts selling $48 foot garlic.
Here's Busy Philipps in New York last week with new boyfriend, Jon Kasbepack.
