“The cunty little bob” ok I’m OBSESSED. This is the phrase we needed.
A cunty little bob is a bob, but it’s also a mindset.
I caught up on the first two episodes of The Righteous Gemstones and it appears HBO gave Danny McBride a blank cheque and said “go have some fun!” This is how blank cheques should be used. The scale of the show, particularly the first episode, is grand. The gemstones are ridiculous and over-the-top and indulgent and greedy, and the production dazzle matches that energy. As for the mega A-lister who made a surprise appearance, I was wondering how that came to be and Danny McBride explains it -SPOILER ALERT- here.
Chrissy Teigen was on WWHL Live and shared her controversial opinion: Bravo stars who are problematic should get a follow through on the show. Meaning, it should be worked out and progress shown.
I have two minds about this: there are different levels of problematic. Cheating to me is not fireable. Like the people calling for Tom Sandoval or Rachel Leviss to be fired did NOT understand the dynamics of Vanderpump Rules. But then you get into stuff like DUIs, which can literally KILL a person. Racist behaviour, which shouldn’t be put on the fans to endure, particularly WOC who are just trying to enjoy the escapism of Real Housewives. There’s the side of reality TV that demands realness and in reality, people are all the problematic things. But then there’s the argument that they can be all of those things in their life, but they shouldn’t get a platform or paycheque for it. Right now, Bravo treats things on a case-by-case basis so there’s no consensus on how cast members’ poor choices are handled.
Meghan Sussex continues her stream of steady lifestyle content with some green St. Patrick’s Day waffles for the kids yesterday. This is where no one can be normal about Meghan: the waffles were fine, cute, very familiar to anyone who has watched a tutorial on cute breakfast/lunch foods. She’s not claiming to be a professional pastry chef, they were homemade. The Meghan haters now have to insist they were awful, looked terrible, probably tasted bad, fake etc., which then causes the Meghan lovers to defend her and be over-the-top effusive about how it’s genius and brilliant and everyone will be making these waffles. Neither are true. It was just a cute breakfast for her kids. That’s it. The green waffles and the waffle maker (which people are theorizing the OG Queen gave her) are very standard lifestyle content. It’s that the typical standards are never applied to her.
