We’ve been talking about couples getting back together thanks to Boston menace Ben Affleck but this isn’t about him and Jennifer. Rebecca Gayheart and Eric Dane have been separated for seven years but have dropped the divorce filing, and TMZ is pointing to reconciliation

This leads me to a question: if you could Gossip Genie any couple BACK together, who would it be? And what if I threw this in: you can disregard new relationships. Assume everyone is single. The possibilities are endless.

I’ve mentioned both The Pitt and Paradise here and not because I’m some TV-watching oracle, but because it’s what everyone is talking about. Is there anything better than being collectively hooked on a TV show? A recent GQ article hones in on the appeal of storytelling. Both of these shows are straight-up dramas (not dramedies) that give audiences what they need: stories for grownups to watch and talk about at the water cooler the next day. We don’t have to memorize the names of houses or zombie-repellent formulas or decipher dream sequences – the storylines are crisp and quickly paced, the leading men are serious and steady (and hubba hubba).

It certainly feels like prime-time TV in its heyday, which got me thinking: why are neither of these shows on a network? NBC should have pulled up a Brinks truck for Dan Fogelman and Sterling K. Brown. And Noah Wyle was the face of ER for years.

I miss Portia’s ridiculous outfits on The White Lotus (though I appreciate they didn’t try to replicate it with another character). Haley Lu Richardson has a new book coming out, I’m Sad and Horny. GREAT book title.

In a big show of confidence, Netflix has already re-upped With Love, Meghan for a second season (which has already filmed). Probably makes sense from a production standpoint. It’s dropping in the fall, which will likely coincide with new As Ever products. Here’s Meghan making thumbprint cookies with Clare Wait Keller, which gives me an excuse to mention that I just bought one of the Uniqlo C pieces (she is now the creative director of the brand). I’ll review in my next As Seen On Social Media post.

Maybe you’ve seen the video of Cynthia Erivo talking about Cecred hair care and if you did, you can thank KATHLEEN. It’s from her interview with R29 Unbothered.
