Wednesday was a big deal in my house and in exciting news (for me), Billie Piper is joining the cast, as well as Steve Buscemi for the second season

If it just started filming, what are we looking at for an air date? I am really bad at guessing that kind of stuff.

Speaking of Billie Piper, I’m obsessed with I Hate Suzie but don’t know a lot about her real life and didn’t know the story behind her ex-husband. Her writing is so chaotic but so precise, especially the way her ex-husband on I Hate Suzie unfurled. She really is brilliant.

Katherine Schwarzenegger apparently “shaded” the MET Gala but it was deleted by the time I checked her stories. Katherine is a blue blood so of course she would find the evolution of the MET Gala – which went from an exclusive charity event for socialites to having TikTokkers work the carpet – as tacky. But the point of the gala, which Anna Wintour really does seem to keep at the forefront in planning, is that it is meant to bolster and expand the museum’s coffers and cultural reach. Which it does. The Met is “pay what you wish” and the exhibits that are kicked off by the Gala are seen by hundreds of thousands of people a year.

Also, Katherine is talking about when things used to be “classy” as she regularly posts sponcon. The call is coming from inside the generic modern farmhouse, Katherine.

"Ozempic: The Shot Heard Around the World” is a new oral history in Town & Country and on my reading list today. It has been a craze and I find that now, maybe because I watch a lot of Housewives, there’s certain features that seem to correspond with its use. But we’ve been through these types of medical weight loss/body modification surges before, like with Fen-phen and HGH (this 2012 Vanity Fair article still sticks out in my mind). I’m including this photo of Dolores Catania because she has openly spoken about using Ozempic.

The Rock made a video talking about his training camp for a new A24 movie and of course, it’s work work work. But I don’t think anyone is questioning his workouts or even his work ethic. The question is more about how his schedule impacts the entire production. How is peeing in a bottle time-saving when you are three hours late anyways? At that point take the 30 seconds to use a urinal.
