I stuck with Younger all the way to the end, so I’m probably more familiar with Sutton Foster than most people. Her divorce didn’t really ping my gossip radar because people get divorced all the time. But the Daily Mail is implying that it has something to do with Hugh Jackman, her co-star in The Music Man. This wouldn’t be the first co-stars-to-lovers story.

In much less surprising news, Rob Lowe said he and Demi Moore hooked up in the 80s. I’d be disappointed if they didn’t.
Connie Britton has been busy on the campaign trail and she’s been booked in busy. And it’s interesting that she’s taken two similar jobs: Overcompensating at Prime and Phony at Hulu (which so far is a pilot order), both comedies. This is a question I will ask Sarah later: does a streaming service allow actors to work more because the shooting schedule is not set by network schedules? Fresh shows premiere monthly, so it’s not like they are vying for big names during sweeps season.
TMZ has a story about Justin Bieber possibly suing his former business managers for financial issues. He wouldn’t be the first to do so; Al Pacino recently wrote in his memoir that he was scammed out of millions by his financial advisor. So many artists are bamboozled by their money people. A lot of comments are pointing at Lou Taylor, and for good reason (she was ALL OVER the Britney conservatorship). But she was only Justin’s business manager for a short time and has been replaced. So then it’s Scooter Braun, another big name tied to Justin. But Scooter is a talent manager, not a business manager. On the other hand, SB Management is a big umbrella so it could all be tied.
My long-winded point is that business managers are much more behind-the-scenes than talent managers and they are crucial to the financial longevity of a star. I did think it was strange Justin sold his entire catalogue at such a young age. That said, the UK tabloids are blaming it on Hailey’s excessive spending. Ummmmm Rhode probably brings in the biggest cheques these days.
