Yesterday Lainey posted about JLo at TIFF and the “bad picker” comment she made to Bobby Cannavale. As Lainey said, no lip reading is required here and it’s very clear (and JLo would know this, as cameras were all up in their faces). 

I made the mistake of reading the comments. Big mistake. Huge. Because people are insinuating that Jennifer is throwing herself at Bobby, who is in a long-term relationship with Rose Byrne. First off, Jennifer and Bobby worked together years ago and are probably friendly. Second, it’s a work event and they are catching up in front of dozens of cameras. Third, when has JLo EVER been known to go after married men? I’ve never heard that about her, not once. Nor rumours about cheating, which is more than I can say about MOST of the men she’s been with. There were even rumours Casper Beau Smart cheated on her. It is wild that TikTok wants to pin this on her.

If you are currently enjoying the dumb show of the week (The Perfect Couple, which I binged this weekend), it might interest you to know that lead actress Eve Hewson is Bono’s daughter. Can we talk about how campy and ridiculous this show is? I laughed out loud several times at the plot and dialogue. 

What’s really fascinating is the casting –  how did several excellent actors end up working alongside people who feel like they stepped out of a high school production of Fame? It’s so all over the place. 

Larry David’s whole persona is that of a curmudgeon who hates small talk and social niceties. It is all a façade and this man loves to chit-chat. Why else would someone with all the money in the world and the ability to pitch a show to any network, at any time, choose to go on a tour that is literally centred around chit-chat. This man is a sharer.
