A reader sent in this TikTok and yes, it’s about Blake Lively and It Ends With Us, in particular her wardrobe. TikToker Anna does fashion deep dives. In this video she zones in on the patchwork jeans by Magnolia Pearl. The clothes from this brand are ugly. Now I know fashion is subjective and we like what we like and we shouldn’t yuck other people’s yum. All fine and good. But these clothes are butt f-cking ugly. Not only do they rip-off Vivienne Westwood (poorly) but cosplaying old-timey poverty is disgusting both ethically and aesthetically. This brand had a plantation collection in 2012; coincidentally the same year as Blake and Ryan’s wedding.
As Anna points out, she even found an interview with costume director Eric Daman where he says that Blake pointed him towards the brand (read it here) and we know how hands on she is. She specifically name-checked the brand in an interview with Jenny Slate (also in the TikTok; going by Blake’s outfit, the interview is from around August 11 as she is wearing the same outfit in this ET interview). So having said all that, Blake is clearly a fan of Magnolia Pearl. But why doesn’t she follow this brand on Instagram? If you are going so hard as to bring them onto set and name-check them, why not follow? And there’s no mention of It Ends With Us on Magnolia Pearl’s page, which is again odd because for a smaller brand, this would be a huge boost. Unless I missed it? That’s possible. Dave Grohl’s wife Jordyn is starting to get her side out, via PEOPLE with her sources saying she was shocked. Translation: this was not an open-marriage or the look-the-other way marriage his hardcore fans are making it out to be. One pretty concrete theory I’ve heard is that this woman was known to both of them, for years. So, yikes. And what is next for the Foos? Like I’ve said, they are a mini-corporation and they tour, a lot. Dave is a very eager life performer and apparently pushes to do as many concerts and festivals as possible. How long until he faces an audience?
Keren Bartov is a facialist-to-the-stars and my guess is, she had a suite before the Emmys and gave free facials in exchange for a selfie. So many people stopped to see her, but why would they take a selfie after a facial unless there was some kind of agreement? It had to be pre-arranged because there is no way she’s asking them on the spot, that would be unprofessional and people who are established in this business (like spray tanners and manicurists etc.) understand discretion. As to why they need a free facial, well that’s a valid question but rich people love free stuff, too.
