Metallica couldn’t sing a Celine Dion song but Celine Dion could absolutely cover a Metallica song. She did an AC/DC cover years ago.

I would bet a million dollars that you don’t know where this story from Mike Birbiglia’s Working It Out podcast is going. You just know John has heard this story a thousand times and every single time he cries laughing.

This Vanity Fair story on Bianca Censori is getting a click from me because so many people speak about her, but I don’t think I’ve ever heard her speak. And I mean that literally – I have not heard her voice, or seen her beyond the red carpet or pap photos.

Tatiana Maslany has a new Apple TV show, playing a “soccer mom not to be messed with.” I don’t know what that means, is she an assassin? Beyond this, there’s Margo’s Got Money Troubles (Elle Fanning, Nicole Kidman, Michelle Pfeiffer) and Imperfect Women (Elizabeth Moss, Kerry Washington, Kate Mara) with really high-profile casts. And it forces me to ask, yet again, why do Apple TV shows look so weird? Weirdly smooth or something – I can’t put my finger on it but everything looks like greenscreen. Why? Someone smart explain it to me (Sarah).

Lena Dunham is doing a night with author Dolly Alderton in London for Lena’s book Famesick. This gives me a chance to bang on about Dolly’s latest book Good Material. Loved it, crushed it in a weekend. I did a quick search and it doesn’t look like the rights have been snapped up but other her book of fictionalized memoir Everything I Know About Love was adapted into a BBC show.
