Charlize is back

Charlize Theron is promoting The Old Guard 2 which releases on Netflix next week on July 2. She’s been making the rounds in New York the last couple of days, doing the talk show circuit, which means a variety of looks, and it’s been a minute since we’ve been able to enjoy Charlize Theron’s style. I’ve missed her style. Here are three looks we’ve seen already this week and so far she is serving pants. 

This is Charlize in full Givenchy – a silk halter blouse with an open back but main event is the trousers. These trousers are gorgeous. Look at how the stripes along the side taper gradually towards the front, adding to and/or creating the shape illusion.

She was leaving Watch What Happens Live and now I can’t wait to see what she says because, well, if Charlize is going on WWHL, she understands the assignment. She has her secrets but she’s also not afraid to talk some sh-t, and Andy Cohen is a messy bitch like that. 

Today Charlize was out again, this time in a blouse that looked like a trench, tucked into another great pair of pants – cream, wide leg, super swaggy. 

Still, as great as the pants have been, they have to take a backseat to the boots. This is the best pair of boots I’ve seen all year and I am now desperate to have them, I WILL have them. Everything else is good – the sweater over the skirt and the blousing etc etc, I’m into it. But the boots are divine, they’re making me horny, and they’re McQueen (update, they are here for Canada and here elsewhere if you're curious and these ARE affiliate links, for full transparency). 

COME ON! THESE BOOTS DESERVE AN ALL CAPS STANDING OVATION! They’re so special that I’m here f-cking with an open toe, which I almost never do. But they will not be denied!
