Connor Storrie shows restraint for Tiffany
Last night was Tiffany & Co.’s Blue Book 2026: Hidden Garden event in New York. Connor Storrie was made a Tiffany ambassador earlier this year, he wore Tiffany jewels throughout awards season to great effect.
Connor was at the event in a cream suit and surprisingly discreet jewelry, sticking with a red lapel pin. I feel like Connor very quickly made bling one of his style trademarks, he plays with jewelry in a very fun way, but this is a relatively restrained look. He looks good! Just surprised the jewelry wasn’t more obvious. I need more jewels to distract me from the shoes. The shoes are not working.

I am weirdly heartened by all the advertising activity around Connor and Hudson Williams. We’ve heard many times how they did not make a lot of money from Heated Rivalry, given the show’s budget constraints and their own unknown statuses going into season one. They made enough they haven’t had to return to waiting tables, but their dual charge into advertising and brand deals (Verizon, Tiffany, YSL for Connor; and Bulgari, Balenciaga, and Peloton for Hudson) is where they’re making their real money now. Also, Hudson Williams doing a bunch of ads is very Shane Hollander-coded.
Anyway, I’m just glad to see a couple of young artists secure their bags so fast, in no small part because it buys them artistic freedom as actors. If they don’t have to take roles for money, they have a lot more freedom of choice in roles and projects. I REALLY want to see what these two do without constraints on their choices. I deemed Hudson a chaos gremlin, but artistically, I can’t quite pin him down. He’s got a little bit of a chameleonic thing happening. Connor strikes me as more obviously eccentric, but that might also be because I recognize a free spirit starved by the hard dirt of Texas. It’s going to be SO interesting watching them evolve over the next few years.
Meanwhile, also at the Tiffany event were Amanda Seyfried and Mariah Carey. Mimi also went minimal with jewelry, while Amanda wore a sapphire and diamond set fit for a princess.

Every time I see jewelry like this, I dream of heists. If the Purge were real, I would just do jewelry heists. And lie on my taxes. In the movies, the Purge happens during tax season, so if you’re not falsifying your taxes, what even is the point of the Purge? It’s heists and lying on your taxes. I am convinced the people doing wild murders are judged the rest of the year by everyone else, who just want to lie on their taxes and steal a diamond necklace, like a normal person.
