Demi Moore’s dog, Pilaf, is the true star of this appearance, as the Fug Girls say. But they’re also saying that Demi’s shoes are kind of underwhelming, especially paired with this Thom Browne set and they’re right. Because these shoes are wrong, both for fashion and function. A platform heel or, better yet, platform loafer heel, would have worked better here if she really wanted the height. But, like, is she standing on pebbles? If so, that’s where the function part comes in. Riding boot all the way. (Go Fug Yourself)

I keep forgetting that there’s a new Superman movie coming next summer. And it’s James Gunn’s Superman movie, so this is a very big deal. Maybe it hasn’t taken hold in my consciousness because I’ve never been big on Superman. Now though? Much more interested. Because Superman won’t be alone. He will be accompanied by another superhero, the best kind of superhero. And a very good boy! This is now my biggest motivation for seeing this movie: the dog! (Pajiba)

7-Eleven will be closing 3% of their stores across North America and focusing on “high-quality” food. Well it’s about f-cking time! Here’s my chance to profess my love for Japan, again. In North America, 7-Eleven is where food goes to die. But in Japan? 7-Eleven is food paradise in Japan. Anyone who’s ever been to Japan leaves with so much sadness – because the country is so clean, so polite, so efficient, and because we miss those 7-Eleven egg salad sandwiches! And the amazing salads. And the cute and delicious noodle bowls. The fried chicken. The dumplings. The onigiri. The ice cream. Do we deserve this in North America? Probably not, because we are disgusting. But if this is the company’s strategy… FINALLY… those of you who have not experienced the wonder of a 7-Eleven in Japan might just get a taste, ha! Sabrina Carpenter has inadvertently become yet another meme because some troll was offended or fake-offended by how horny she is, or something. Oh so this is still happening? Back in my day, Madonna sang about being “touched for the very first time” and f-cked herself onstage at the VMAs. People got big mad. She followed that up by telling us that she’s in “trouble, deep” and that she’s keeping her baby. It was a whole storyline! And that story kept going later on when she showed up in a hotel and did different sex things in every room in the “Justify My Love” video. Same sh-t, different decade. People losing their minds over women taking care of their own desires. It’s a terrifying prospect. (The Mary Sue)

Something very special is about to happen in just a few hours: j-hope will complete his mandatory military service and be discharged from the army tomorrow! After tomorrow, we’ll have to wait until next summer for the remaining five members of BTS to finish their national duty. A few months ago, when Jin was released, they all came together to greet him. We’ll find out soon what the plan is for j-hope but Jimin and Jungkook were posting on socials today, wishing him well, which some are taking to mean that they might not be able to celebrate j-hope’s discharge. Heads up though – BTS fans are going to be really, really active tomorrow when Hobi gets out. (Pink Villa)
