So on the same day that Netflix releases season three part two of Bridgerton, a photo of Luke Newton with his real-life girlfriend, Antonia Roumelioti, holding hands at the London premiere afterparty is published by PEOPLE. Can we call this a soft launch? I mean, this was a choice. He’s the romantic leading male of the season. He’s been touring the series for several weeks, he has seen the fan reaction and the social media reaction to his chemistry with Nicola Coughlan and the fan devotion to Polin. That premiere and the party were a heatscore – so having Antonia with him is intentional.
Polin is fictional, sorry to the fans who’ve been shipping Luke and Nicola IRL. Apparently Antonia has been travelling with Luke this whole time too. To those out there who were hoping they were more than friends… can we be happy that they’re great actors? (People)
The Pat Sajak era of Wheel of Fortune has officially come to an end and there was a handover from Pat to Ryan Seacrest, the new host of WoF, though many remain salty that it’s not Vanna White, including me. At least she’s getting paid – although I wonder what her salary is in comparison to Ryan’s, which is just going to make me mad all over again because at this point, where WoF is concerned, Vanna is wayyyyy more valuable.(Pajiba)
I was not prepared for what the Fug Girls were screaming about with respect to Camila Cabello’s outfit but now that I’ve seen it I too am screaming on the inside. Some tabloid in the UK is trying to rumour that Tom Cruise either wants to or is pursuing Angelina Jolie. Anything is possible, I guess, but if this is true – and I don’t think it is – I’m not sure if anyone, other than Tom, can picture it.
