I watched the Sean Combs: The Reckoning and then went back and read Stephanie’s piece on it and she specifically points out something important, noting that this “production (is) driving home just how untrustworthy Diddy was, specifically as it pertained to money, business dealings and stealing the girlfriends.” 

Celebrity conspiracy theories about Diddy run very deep on the internet but watching the series, it is clear that his inner circle did not include other celebrities or Black moguls because he was so insecure and narcissistic that he could not stand other people’s successes. He had to be number one and the center of attention; his greatest form of control was money and dangling carrots for a contract, for a paycheque, for a big break. He wouldn’t have that power over people that were successful and, seeing his pattern of behaviour, probably seethed with jealousy over their wins and played friendly with them in public. 

OK these two are very cute. Hailee Steinfeld has had quite a year. I guess her husband has as well but I don’t know much about him.

These two are ALSO VERY CUTE. You just know Coach Taylor would tell them he’s proud… with his eyes. 

Pluribus is setting records for Apple TV and I’m all for tech giants throwing piles of money at the arts. But I need someone very knowledgeable about television production to explain to me why Apple shows look weird. I don’t know if it’s the lighting, the cinematography or something else but all Apple shows have the same weird look to me and I kind of hate it. 

This caption from Rocco Ritchie is really all nepo babies need to say; I understand the judgment and I want to do the work. One thing about the Ciccone/Richie kids is they are not out there looking for Instagram deals and paid appearances, particularly Lola. I bet she turns stuff down all the time.
