Someone in Simone Biles’s comment section asked why she was invited to the TNT wedding and this is a dumb question. She is the most decorated gymnast of all time and if there’s one thing Taylor loves, it’s greatness.
I would bet Taylor and Travis fangirl over her. On top of that, elite athletes are part of a network – they share trainers and nutritionists and physiotherapists, all that stuff.
Ryan Seacrest missing the TNT wedding is very on-brand, this man works works works. And it got me thinking that as prolific as he is in American media – game show host, talk show host, holiday special host, reality TV show host, radio. But as much as he is in people’s living rooms, I don’t know the first thing about Ryan Seacrest. He dated Julianne Hough a long time ago. That’s pretty much it. This is the ideal career strategy for someone as prolific as Ryan because he needs to be a blank slate for his audience.
John Cena talked about his hair transplant and it’s notable because famous men usually don’t talk about this treatment. Even when we see their hairline move in real time. It’s the same thing with facelifts. It’s slightly changing for women but not for men. Famous men are getting facelifts. They are doing laser treatments and body contouring; they are doing all of the same things the women are doing. I have seen one article on it. The upper bleph trend reminds me of the buccal fat removal craze of a few years ago.
I’ve never been accused of being an optimist but I’m feeling good about how soundly this AI movie will be rejected. My thinking is this: Gen Z is the largest segment of movie theatre audiences and look at what Gen Z has gravitated towards this year - Backrooms and Obsession. Huge indie hits. These kids know about A24 and Neon. There is no meaner Letterboxd review than one written by a teen who has a Criterion Closet subscription.
Pamela Anderson’s sons seem really sweet and they are always praising their mom in the comments. Dylan Jagger Lee married interior designer Paula Bruss and she wore an Oscar de la Renta gown with a lot of floral details, very pretty. And the mother-of-the-groom wore white, which I’m sure was planned. I was just talking about guests wearing white to weddings yesterday and it’s actually great for photos.
