What Else?
My eyes bugged when I saw this: Don Lemon was let go from CNN last year and now he and the network have finalised their divorce. He’s getting SO MUCH MONEY. For people like us this is f-ck you money. For celebrities it’s probably not f-ck you money since they have all kinds of property etc they have to maintain but Christ Jesus, this is a nice send-off package. (Hollywood Unlocked)
I did not clock Florence Pugh’s eye makeup at the New York City premiere of Dune: Part 2 yesterday because… Zendaya. But this is a great closeup of the stickers that her makeup artist used to lean into the sci-fi theme of the film. And also a great shot of her eyes, which are a lovely hazel. These stickers though – in my experience it doesn’t work for everyone, or at least people like me who have eyes of different sizes and shapes. We the wonky-eyed have to stay away from stickers because they further enhance the wonkiness. It’s hard to create symmetry. (Go Fug Yourself)
Staying with the Dune cast, Rebecca Ferguson is talking on this press tour about former work experiences, including a time she was screamed at by a co-star and while she doesn’t necessarily name him, she gives enough detail and timeline for us to figure it out by process of elimination. It’s not Tom Cruise or Hugh Jackman, they would never. (Pajiba)
Denis Villeneuve shares his feelings on dialogue in film and television – which is that dialogue is kinda more of a TV thing than a movie thing, LOL. I can confirm that there isn’t a lot of talking in Dune: Part 2. (The Mary Sue)
Taylor Swift’s father, Scott Swift, lost his temper with a pap who her team is saying was being aggressive and I also read that this pap may have had issues before with Nicole Kidman and that she lodged a complaint against them? (Celebitchy)
