Carpets & Candids: Evangeline’s ruffled blazer dress

What a gorgeous, gorgeous piece. 

This is tuxedo jacket that’s become a dress. Which we’ve seen before. And we’ve probably seen it before on Evangeline Lilly. What makes it extra special is that the blazer is framed by ruffles down t the side and the bottom that gives it the feel of a skirt. But not totally. The shape of the jacket is very much intact. There is never any doubt that this is a blazer. 

And there’s no doubt that this would work in ten years, in twenty years – a classic, timeliness design. Styled by, of course, the brilliant Law Roach. I am so into this partnership.
