A fashion appreciation post for Emma Corrin's striped swimsuit

There’s nothing profound in this post… just fashion appreciation and a rare kind of fashion, for me at least, which is swimwear. I generally prefer not to think about swimwear, I only care about it if I’m going on a beach holiday and that, maybe, happens once a year. At home, I am never in swimwear, I don’t swim and I don’t go to local beaches to lie on the beach and I lie in the sun less and less at home on the deck, but even if I do, it’s a sports bra and shorts.

My point is, it takes a great swimsuit to get my attention and Emma Corrin’s has all my attention. They are on holiday in Ibiza in an amazing striped one-piece that in some shots looks green and black and in others looks green and brown. I am hoping it’s green and brown because green and brown is a great combo!

It’s the shade of green too, though, right? Army green? Olive green? Somewhere in between? And ever so slightly metallic too? I love it, and I love how high it comes up to the neck and the white piping that makes the colours of the stripes pop out even more.

Mike White talks all the time about how much he loves reality television. And he’s been on reality television. Now he’s going back to reality TV, returning to Survivor for season 50. I just learned that he’s also been on multiple iterations of The Amazing Race. So I guess it’s only a matter of time before he makes it onto The Masked Singer? It’ll also be a LOT of time until the next season of The White Lotus because he definitely won’t be working on it when he’s trying to win on the island. (Pajiba)

I don’t travel for work as much as I used to but I am on the road a few times a year and I am particularly anxious about being connected and getting on wifi. Several years ago I hopped on the wrong network at Heathrow and installed a virus. That definitely learned me. But I have never really thought about charging stations even though I’m super anxious about phone and laptop battery. Now there’s a warning that those aren’t safe either, WTF. (Celebitchy)
