What Else?
The Fug Girls are asking a good question about of the length of Emily Blunt’s dress. Is it OK? Or should it be shorter? In the photo that they posted, it definitely should be shorter. But it really depends on the photo and specifically in angles of the photo. The length of this dress only works when she’s shot straight on, at her height or lower. If the camera is positioned above her, it’s too long. Which means… yeah… it should be shorter, because if a dress only works at one precise angle front-on, then probably it could use an adjustment. This was a fun game. (GoFugYourself)
Taylor Swift has made it clear who she’ll be voting for in the US presidential election. And the piece of sh-t who is not getting her vote is apoplectic about it. While he keeps throwing tantrums, there’s been speculation about whether or not Taylor can change Brittany Mahomes’s vote. I don’t think the Daily Mail knows f-ck all about her or Taylor but this is what people really, really want to believe. (Pajiba)
And then there’s Elon Musk, the richest man in the world out here practically inviting assassination attempts and blatant sexual violence. What upsets me the most about this asshole is how, just like Trump, he got a free ride on publicity to build his mythology. This man is nothing – and the world made him into an enormous problem. (The Mary Sue)
While Bennifer is out here either being cold to each other or horny again for each other, as Page Six keeps doubling down on, Jennifer Garner and her boyfriend, John Miller, are keeping it “fun and easygoing”. (Celebitchy)
The biggest story today in entertainment news is Sean Diddy Combs. I’m not writing a standalone post about this because, frankly, there’s only so many times I can listen to “freak offs” being mentioned at a US Attorney press conference and references to baby oil before I want to lock myself in the house and never leave again. And, frankly, I’m also worried about how it’s being covered. Because this is serious violence and abuse of power and enabling and Diddy should be prosecuted and put away but in the coverage of all this, there’s already a tone of pursuing the salaciousness without considering that so many women were hurt and so many people just stood by and let it happen. As Evette Dion writes, Diddy’s “arrest is only the first step to accountability”. (MSNBC)
