Gabrielle Union addressed the people who’ve been speculating about her face to also talk about how ponytails can have an impact on your face. I love this so much because there are days when I need the high pony to do the surgery. The way a ponytail can lift the places that need to be lifted! Sometimes the pony works too well. There are days when Caitlin gives me such a snatched pony that I’m like… OK, we need to release her a little because there is such a thing, for me anyway, as too snatched. (Hollywood Unlocked)

I was super into the Hawk Tuah story just like everyone else online earlier this year. It was funny, she was cute, and I’m happy she wasn’t shamed. When she started building a career out of her viral moment, at the time, I was like, yeah, I get it. Capitalise on your fame. But… not like this. She’s being called a crypto scammer now. Real people have lost real money. Whether or not they should have put their money in this mess is another conversation, but the Hawk Tuah story has turned. (Pajiba)

Rihanna and Rocky stepped out again this week, this time her outfit was much less furry. I agree with the Fug Girls, though, on the shoe choice. Rihanna seems partial to this kind of … string-tie sandal? I don’t know what to call them but I hate them. Much more into her hair. Have been zooming in and trying to figure out what’s going on here. I might try to recreate it in 2025. (Go Fug Yourself)

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds went to a screening of Wicked and posed with Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. I like that Blake wore socks with her sparkly ruby red shoes. As The Cut says, though, the red shoes aren’t quite living up to the Wicked standard. (The Cut)

The Timothée Chalamet lookalike contest is the OG. Others have tried… and sputtered. We’ve not heard from Timmy about the event though I suspect he’ll be asked repeatedly about it when A Complete Unknown junkets over the next few days. Apparently he tried to pay the fine that the organisers were assessed for gathering without a permit. Worth it, of course. (Celebitchy)
