I’ve been going on and on about it all month so why not one more post about the Tom Cruise coconut cake; yes, I have major gift envy. Truthfully, I despise white chocolate and am not crazy about coconut, I am not a dessert person really. It’s not the cake, it’s what the cake represents. 

I’m really glad 2025 was the year we could all admit the Stone family are annoying as hell. 

Russell Brand popped up out of whatever hole he was living in to comment on Katy Perry dating Justin Trudeau. I think I speak for all of us when I say, “Shut the f-ck up you weirdo.”

The Sussexes have dropped a holiday card, very cute. As ever closes out the year pretty strongly; it seems they’ve worked out their no-stock issue just in time to be on Oprah’s Favorite Things list. There’s even a gift with purchase (a free orange marmalade on purchases over $70). 

Now that it’s stabilized, I think there will be another line dropped in 2026 but it’s a toss-up between fashion and skin care. I’m going with skin care, just because if Meghan went into fashion, it could center around the classic button up she is known to wear. But her good friend Misha Nonoo already does that. Well, they were very tight, I have no idea if they still are (and neither do the UK tabloids, but that has never stopped them from running a story). 

Things have been a little doom and gloom lately (OK, a lot doom and gloom). Here’s a shot of holiday spirit — the annual Questlove Christmas party looks like a blast. Questlove is also a purveyor of good eats (he has an Instagram handle dedicated to his best meals, @questlovesfood), so you know the buffet was jam-packed with tasty dishes, not a few sad trays of passed canapes.

As Sarah mentioned, this is our last day of 2025. So I will spend it like I spent most of my other days, being uncool about the Beckhams. 

Brooklyn and Nicola were quiet for a minute and it turns out it’s because she’s filming a movie. She directs. Self-financed I’m sure. The interesting thing here is that Victoria has started to like Brooklyn’s posts again, but only the only the ones around his ventures. She hasn’t liked the posts about Nicola. They could never make me hate Victoria Beckham.
