The White Lotus is filming, but we are still getting casting news; the latest is Max Minghella, Ben Kingsley and Pekka Strang. The White Lotus always seems to have a very entitled, douche bro-type and this could be Max’s role, he could certainly play that type. I also think Max is exactly the right level of fame for this cast in that he is certainly known, but it’s been a while since he’s been in a project that has the kind of wall-to-wall cultural takeover that The White Lotus typically gets for a few months.

I’m saving the finale of The Comeback but we need to talk about one of the best gags of the season, which is Valerie joining the cast of Chicago. She can’t do the choreography. At one point, she asks if she’s getting the “Housewives” version because, somewhere along the way, Chicago became a stepping stone for reality TV stars. How did this happen?

I’m not a marketing expert but there has to be a better way for Darren Criss to promote his tour.
