Despite rumors it would be so, Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper did not hard launch at the Vanity Fair Oscars after party. BCoop didn’t even go to Vanity Fair, he went to Netflix’s after party, instead, and Gigi was nowhere to be seen.
But they appear to be going strong still and were spotted strolling in Manhattan this week. Gigi then went to see Little Shop of Horrors Off-Broadway last night, which stars Darren Criss and Evan Rachel Wood. Little Shop of Horrors is one of three (3) good musicals, and that is excellent Seymour and Audrey casting, respectively.
I don’t have much of an opinion on Gigi Hadid, but her apparent jump off from Leonardo DiCaprio to Bradley Cooper is giving big “Blake Lively dumping Leo to marry Ryan Reynolds” energy. It was never even confirmed Leo and Gigi were dealing with each other, they were just in the same place at the same time a few times last summer. Personally, I don’t think they were dealing, I think Leo and/or someone on his team wanted us to think he was willing to look a woman over 25 in the eye, and Gigi Hadid was going to the same parties. (Now, we’re supposed to believe he’s engaged to 25 year old model Vittoria Ceretti.) Regardless of whether it was real, BCoop is an upgrade. Better to be with someone who tries too hard than someone who doesn’t try at all.
