Gillian and Hannah match at night
Let’s make it a gay finish to the day – we started it gay with Gillian Anderson and Hannah Einbinder for our site manager Emily and will end it with them too because they went from photo call in the morning to promote Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma to the red carpet tonight in matching white.
Gillian’s big hair from earlier in the day has been pulled into a messy pony. She was wearing Miu Miu earlier in the day and she’s in Miu Miu again in the evening, a dress that I wish was slightly shorter. Hannah meanwhile is in Celine, a look that might be polarising but I f-cking love it because she looks comfortable, she’s not trying to style herself like someone else, and I’m always on the side of a baggy sack over body-con anyway.

What else happened today…
I mentioned the Disney Upfront earlier, today it’s the NBC Upfront and Meghann Fahy looks great in this striped dress but I would like to launch a protest over those shoes. (Go Fug Yourself)
In general, I love nerd culture because it’s passion, and they ride hard for the sh-t they love. I’m a nerd for my passions and I ride hard for them, I get it. There’s a nerd for everything, including Greek mythology, and those nerds are super anxious because of The Odyssey and certain details that don’t meet the nerd standard. Christopher Nolan is addressing some of these concerns, patiently. (Pajiba)
We already know that Madonna will appear in season two of The Studio. Now Bryan Cranston is giving us more detail about her role – because he has a scene with her that he says could “destroy [his] career”. I’m sure he’ll be fine… but the scene involves Truth or Dare, so if it’s as mundane as fellating a bottle and his gag reflex, I’ll be underwhelmed. (EW)
We don’t need to change anything about Heated Rivalry, this is not what I’m saying. But Margaret Cho could have been in Heated Rivalry and that would have been… beyond. This totally tracks, too, because I definitely feel like Jacob Tierney and Margaret would have vibed. So we have another reason to say F-CK ICE. (Out)
Apple Martin stars in the new Chloé campaign and she looks great, I just don’t understand what the tone of the spot is here. A sad lonely golden girl pouting in the sun? Is that what inspires Gen Z to go luxury shopping? (Celebitchy)
