It was confirmed last week that Gisele Bundchen is quitting the runway. She’ll still be modelling – and making more money OFF the runway, because runway isn't where it’s lucrative anyway – but there will be no more catwalking. Sao Paolo will be the last.

Today she posted this shot of herself at 14, at her first fashion show, on Instagram. Like you needed a reminder how OBVIOUS it was that she would become Gisele Bundchen, one of the legends of the profession.

 

I am grateful that at 14, I was given the opportunity to start this journey.
