What Else?
You Quiz on the Block is one of the most popular, if not the most popular, variety show in Korea with a global audience. One of the hosts, Yoo Jae-suk, hosts multiple shows in Korea, kinda like Ryan Seacrest, except people really love Jae-suk. Hollywood stars going to Korea have increasingly been popping in on the variety shows. Tom Cruise and Ryan Reynolds have both been on Running Man (one of Korea’s most enduring shows) and Ryan was also on King of Masked Singer which is what the American show is based on.
The latest Hollywood superstars to do Korean variety? Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya, I can’t wait to watch this episode!
It’s not just the shoes, I don’t typically associate the silhouette of the coats with Erdem but I don’t think that’s a bad thing, when a designer tries a different vibe. It can’t just be florals forever. To go back to the footwear though… I f-cking hate this trend, these crazy ass stunts, it’s totally impractical and it looks hideous. (GoFugYourself)
I am a Beatles fan. Said it before and will say it again and you will tell me I’m a basic bitch and I don’t care: Beatles > Stones for me, always. But… do we need four Beatles biopics, one for each member? I just told you I’m a Beatles fan so I’m predisposed to like this idea and I don’t. Because there is no shortage of Beatles content out there! Nobody is sitting around all like, oh, I wish there was a filmmaker who could really tell us what happened with the Beatles. We all already know! (Pajiba)
Here's another non-TNT relationship that’s going viral, this one is about a novelist who’s husband might be anonymously trashing her work online. Wasn’t this a movie starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus?! Yes, sort of, but it’s also apparently happening in real life to an author who needs advice. (The Mary Sue)
I love a John Oliver stunt – he usually begins or ends a season with one and this year is no exception. The stunt involves a judge and a million dollars of his own money. It was a great episode – terrifying, as usual, but a great, hilarious episode that clowned the current longest serving US Supreme Court Justice. (Celebitchy)
