What Else?
SZA covers the new issue of British Vogue and I love the chartreuse knit set that she’s wearing on the cover. She is super candid in the interview, talking about her relationship to fame and her music and even her BBL procedure. But there’s no conversation with SZA without mental health and she’s once again vulnerable and forthcoming about prioritising mental wellness above all. (Hollywood Unlocked)
Ariana Grande wanted Bowen Yang in Wicked so bad that she called up Lorne Michaels and made the request. I also love what Bowen shares here about how he approached Lorne himself about it because I can totally picture him making that “pouty face”. (Pajiba)
The Fug Girls are reminding me that at the American Music Awards 20 years ago today, Gwen Stefani was still full Harajuku and using Japanese women as props and Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey were still together. Very few of these outfits still hold up, with the exception of Diana Ross because we can never disrespect Ms Ross and also Jenny McCarthy whose fit is kinda timeless. This was before she started on her f-cksh-t about vaccines and, well, since we’re doing a little lookback, look at the mess that’s happened in the two decades since. (Go Fug Yourself)
Channing Tatum is single, sad, and thirst-trapping. Which famous person will slide into his DMs? (The Cut)
This is so gross and horrible on so many levels. First and foremost, of course, the poor child. Why is she being asked to participate in this kind of conversation? But what is the point of posting it? To get a reaction – and the biggest reaction they’re hoping for would be from Taylor Swift herself. So it’s kind of an accusation: you made my child feel bad, Taylor. Because you advocated for women’s rights and reproductive freedom and a more just nation. It’s f-cked! (The Mary Sue)
