Beyoncé, as we’ve learned, does not give advance notice or warnings. She just expects you to be ready, ready for the next move. The understanding here is that we live our lives constantly on Beyoncé alert. I do. I do.

The album. We’ve been waiting for this album. But you know what day approaches? April 4th.

April 4th is the Carter wedding anniversary. Too obvious? Maybe. But the tour kicks off on April 27th. And if there are new songs and new videos, she knows that we’d want to have them all memorised, notes taken, before she allows us to see her in concert.

Be ready.
