Jennifer Aniston was photographed on the set of season five of The Morning Show today in LA. By the time the new season airs, likely in 2027, she’ll have been working on it for at least eight years.

Meanwhile several projects remain in development, which tells you how f-cking long the development process in Hollywood can be, especially in film. Like the 9 to 5 reboot she was announced to be working on two years ago, with Diablo Cody writing the script. And another called Hail Mary that doesn’t take place in space but is based on the true story of a former beauty pageant queen, Denise White, who becomes a sports agent. I would very much like to see this movie, can whoever the probably male studio executive who’s holding this up please take his head out of his ass?

Anyway, as you can see, Jen is wearing a dress for this Morning Show scene that is both very her and her character and Alex Levy. Also Rachel Green. It’s a basic wedding guest dress, available to buy year-round or rent at any dress rental in any city, in every colour. Is Alex going to a wedding? Whose wedding?

What else happened today…

Zach Galifianakis’s gardening show is now streaming on Netflix and according to Dustin Rowles, it is a delight. (Pajiba)

Julia Fox stepped out in what the Fug Girls are calling a “tasteful outfit”. I don’t know that I would use the word “tasteful” but I will call it ugly, like hideous, every detail, and in that respect, it is actually a Julia look – and I celebrate this, that her eye is never drawn to “pretty” but almost always garish.  (Go Fug Yourself)

Amal Clooney accompanied her husband in New York yesterday as he was honoured with another award. She looked amazing in a purple Balenciaga dress. The Clooney twins are now eight years old. And we’ve seen them… maybe… twice? Pretty extraordinary considering how high-profile their parents are. (Celebitchy)

Ranking the horniest viral gay kisses…which is how I found out that Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson make out in Verity. (Out)

I LOOOVE Ariana Grande’s last album, Eternal Sunshine. I love it SO MUCH, it has surprised me how much because while, yes, I generally did f-ck with her music up to that point, no album of hers grabbed me the way Eternal Sunshine did, on repeat, on repeat, on repeat, no skips. So while I’m not crashing out the way Michael is when she made the announcement about a new album, Petal, today, I will admit, I am pretty jacked. (Vulture)
