Jennie was seen in LA yesterday with Simi and Haze Khadra after Charli XCX and Troye Sivan’s Sweat Tour. The connection here, I think, is The Idol and The Weeknd. Jennie and Troye were in the series together and became close, and Simi is dating Abel.
Lily-Rose was there too and they all ended up backstage together.
I love Jennie’s outfit, especially the 70s style vest over jeans, but mostly I love her hair. This is second or third day hair, left over from her performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! the other night. That texture, it’s so hard to achieve on day one with heat. You have to sleep on it, sweat in it, mess with it, to get the waves to release like they have here.
So that’s one friend group out on a Wednesday night. And there are “friends”, Martin Short and Meryl Streep, who went out for dinner at Giorgio Baldi. They arrived together in the same car, they left together in the same car (she drove) and they continue to insist that they are “just friends” and we continue to want them to be more. That Oliver and Loretta can exist IRL. PS. I’m two episodes behind on this season of Only Murders, have only just started the Melissa McCarthy episode but from the first few minutes, it’s rather obvious that she’s horny for Oliver. So if this is setting up a love triangle between the three of them, don’t tell me, but also… GIVE IT TO ME.
Then again, Marty and Meryl have been in the business a long time. OMITB is heading towards its season finale. It’s good promo, non?
