I saw these photos of Jennifer Aniston the other day and I didn’t think they were new. Turns out they are new, from The Morning Show at Paley Fest, but the reason I didn’t clock it is because, well, the outfit didn’t stand out to me. Yes, I get it, I get it, she has a style and she sticks to it. She also seems to be staying with this shorter hair length. That’s the surprise here. (GoFugYourself)
I posted earlier today about the WNBA and the draft last night. This morning the conversation is about the salaries, and specifically Caitlin Clark’s because… well… she’s not getting a lot of money. And, yes, there is a conversation to be had here about the pay inequality between male athletes and female athletes. Of course they need to do better. But we can do better too. Watch the games, go to the games if you can, get the merch if you can. That said, Caitlin may not be getting paid that much from her new team, but she’ll be getting paid on endorsements. Probably more than what Ice Cube offered her. (Hollywood Unlocked)
Reddit is talking about the weirdest or grossest thing your partner does that you accept. I have a long list and I’ll just share one here now: my husband, Jacek, refuses to round the clipper when he’s cutting his nails. Toes and fingers. So he’ll just clip his nails into sharp peaks, one clip on each side of the nail, and no filing. This makes me crazy, and it injures me frequently because his nails then become like weapons. But, you know, equal rights. So I’ll share what I do that grosses him out: I accumulate pees. I pee so often with my small f-cking bladder that I don’t flush every single time. Usually I take it to about three. Because the environment! (Pajiba)
Netflix and True Crime – it’s one of the most successful parts of their library, and the latest true crime documentary that’s going viral is What Jennifer Did. This is the story of how Jennifer Pan hired people to kill her parents; her mother was murdered, her father survived. And now everyone wants to know more –For those of us who live in Toronto though, well, we already know. Because we remember! But also you should read or re-read Karen K Ho’s piece about the crime in Toronto Life from 2015. (Toronto Life)
How’s your sense of direction? Mine is bullsh-t. So I’m not sure I buy that it’s “learned”. I have been trying my whole ass life to be better at directions but, like, I can’t even tell where my phone is pointing me, I’m always walking the wrong way! (Celebitchy)
