Let’s start with old friends since these are the fresher pap shots – Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox went out for dinner last night in LA and she’s wearing her favourite wedges. I feel almost comforted that year after year, these remain in her closet. Jen was campaigning a few weeks ago for the Emmys in support of The Morning Show but there’s another project that she’s be promoting in the fall: she’s a children’s book author now.
It was announced a couple of weeks ago that Jen’s signed a four-book deal with HarperCollins and animation studio Invisible Universe for a series of stories inspired by her dog, Clyde.
The first book will be released October 1. And all of this started on Instagram at the end of 2021 when Jen introduced Clydeo and now Clydeo’s getting a full story about discovering himself and his love of cooking.
As Jen said in a statement:
“When I decided to partner with Invisible Universe to bring Clydeo to life on social media, I could have never imagined how much joy he would bring to his fans and followers. I could not be more thrilled to be taking Clydeo and his stories to publishing, where he will hopefully inspire children and dog-lovers alike with his adorable journey to find his true passion.”
“Journey”! That was her word, not mine!
Dogs might be my favourite thing about Jennifer Aniston because for almost as long as she’s been famous, she’s shared her home with dogs. And, like most dog humans, probably most of the photos and video storage on her phone is taken up by footage of her dogs.
Here’s Clyde, with his brother Lord Chesterfield, in their most recent IG appearance in May, narrated by Owen Wilson from Marley and Me, a movie I have never watched because WHY WOULD I SUBJECT MYSELF TO THAT CRUELTY?!
From old friends to new friends who are old… these photos of Harrison Ford and Larry David cracked me up because they’re both crusty in their own unique ways and I wish I knew what they were talking about. Larry’s actually smiling so maybe he wasn’t actually bitching about something. Or maybe Harrison’s one of the few people on the planet who Larry minds his mood around.
Seeing Harrison though reminds me of Shrinking and how much I love him on that show. Season two just wrapped filming a couple of weeks ago so… maybe, possibly, before the end of the year? We need more Harrison Ford + Jessica Williams!
