I appreciate that Doja Cat walked her first Oscars red carpet in cat print even though her second dress of the night, for the Vanity Fair party, was probably more formal…but also, maybe, a little more naked, LOL.

It’s Balmain, and it’s the one she chose as the first in her Oscar carousel, which I appreciate even more. Because the caption is just so …honest: “a bitch hit some flats” is both funny and real.

While she was walking the carpet at the Oscars that night, I keep looking for Joseph Quinn. He skipped the carpet but he was backstage, which means he was supporting her for her performance. And then he showed up to VF but they didn’t pose together. It’s enough for us to know, though, that they are still together, and now they’re both at Paris Fashion Week. Joseph was at the Grand Dîner du Louvre last night while Doja today was seen leaving the Schiaparelli atelier after a fitting.

Do you remember the last time she was at Schiaparelli for fashion week? How could you forget?

Big expectations, then, for whatever Daniel Roseberry and Doja are planning. She appears to be teasing something on IG – this was just posted an hour ago. Some people think it’s an album teaser but I wonder if it’s related to Paris Fashion Week.

The album is coming, though. She revealed the album title a few weeks ago: Vie. As in “ma vie”, en français. So her fans are now speculating that Vie will be songs about love, basically her down bad album. It seems like it, doesn’t it? After all, she manifested him into her life. And I love this for her. I also love this for him. Joe had a very good 2024, and 2025 is looking even better. We’ve covered his personal life, and as for his professional life...

There are big expectations for Alex Garland and Ray Mendoza’s Warfare, coming out on April 11 basically the same weekend last year as Alex’s previous film, Civil War, which did very well for A24. The cast of Warfare includes some of Hollywood’s most exciting young male talent. In addition to Joseph Quinn, there’s also Charles Melton, Will Poulter, Kit Connor, Cosmo Jarvis, and in the lead role, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, inspired by Ray Mendoza’s own experience serving during the Iraq War. A featurette for the film was released yesterday. It looks amazing. It looks like it’s going to be a tough watch, but it looks really, really good.
