Julia Louis-Dreyfus has been showing up to a few fashion events, more than we’ve seen in the past. I’m wondering if it’s because her schedule is a little looser now; her kids are full adults with their own careers. 

 

She has starred in three long-term sitcoms (Seinfeld, The New Adventures of Old Christine, Veep) – four if you count her three seasons on SNL. She took long breaks between each project. Veep ended in 2019, so we are at the six-year mark. I wonder if she’s getting the itch to do TV again and is out there looking for the right project. Because how do you top Veep? 

 

Can Nobody Wants This course-correct its storytelling? It has another season to figure it out. 

Lainey wrote about Jennifer Aniston’s hard launch and her boyfriend Jim is loud and proud as well. It got me thinking about how Jennifer presents her boyfriends – it’s quite different each time. Sometimes it’s quiet (like when she is dating someone behind the camera) and sometimes it’s John Mayer. 

 

Today I learned that Coachella has a “Vinyl Record Curator” (sounds about right) named Alex, who seems like a decent dude. A nice interaction for the day.

This isn’t recent but it’s also evergreen. Megan Stalter is doing satire but if you’ve ever worked in an office, you’ve had this conversation. This is the person in charge of the passive-aggressive microwave notes. 

 

This is interesting – Nicholas Braun’s DUI charges have been dropped (blood tests showed he was under the legal limit) but I first saw it at PEOPLE. TMZ always has the jump on these legal stories. PEOPLE’s reporting is sourced from a local affiliate who scooped TMZ. Long live local news.
