First a PROGRAMMING NOTE: we are dark tomorrow in observance of Remembrance Day which is a federal holiday in Canada. We will return to regular gossip schedule on Wednesday.

Now to Keke Palmer and Jack Whitehall seen hanging out at work, though not filming in these photos. The project is a series adaptation of the movie The Burbs, which was also filmed on the Universal backlot, about a woman who moves into her husband’s childhood home and discovers that the neighbourhood has a dark secret. Keke and Jack presumably play the couple and they look good together. I’m not trying to start sh-t, I’m just saying, if these pictures are any indication, and specifically my Photo Assumption of them (our favourite game of baseless conclusions), this is good casting. I already believe that these two would be into each other (on screen), I am already invested in their marriage, and I can’t wait to see how this chemistry plays out on the show.

What else happened today…

This is one of the reasons why Julius continuously stomps around the stage when Beyoncé is performing – because some fans really are out of control and will reach up and grope the artists like they’re entitled to their bodies. As Kayleigh Donaldson notes, Halsey is the latest on a growing list of celebrities who’ve been harassed at their own concert by their own fans. (Pajiba)

Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter went out for dinner the other night. Taylor’s taste in shoes continues to be perplexing. Which is a shame because the Thom Browne outfit is pretty f-cking cute, which only makes the Gucci slingbacks that much more of an eyesore. It’s the slingback, really. It’s a fashion crime, in my opinion, to turn an oxford into a slingback. And also a mule, flat or heeled, for that matter. The oxford is a perfect shoe with the perfect toe, whyyyy would you want to make it so incongruent? (Celebitchy)

I love Rachel Sennott. In her new piece for The Ringer, Helena Hunt calls Rachel a “Television Star for the TikTok Generation”. Probably. But even though I’m way older than the TikTok generation, Rachel Sennott is for me too. Her talent is universally appealing. (The Ringer)

Fascinating article by Bindu Bansinath about Mormon women’s fashion and how they’re allowed to show their shoulders now. (The Cut)

Scaachi Koul spent three hours with Kathy Griffin at her home and documented everything we need to know. I spent several minutes staring at the photo of her fridge because, well, there’s a lot of pop – or what Americans call soda. There isn’t a single can of pop soda in my fridge right now. I don’t drink a lot of it, like maybe twice a year, maybe, I’ll have a Coca-Cola. More and more, though, I feel like I’m in the minority because just this afternoon I took in formal inventory of how much pop there is around the office and now I can see the Diet Coke all around me.
