Dear Gossips,
I’ve been joking with colleagues and friends all that while in isolation the last three weeks, I’ve basically become a gourmet chef. When I wrap work every day, I rage-cook. It’s a different recipe every night. Tonight I’m attempting coconut curry chicken, if I can find some chicken thighs. On the weekend I’m thinking of making pizza dough for the first time, if I can find some yeast. The reason I’m telling you this is because I just did a personality test that determines which television character you are and … well… let me start at the beginning.
Duana messaged one of our group chats this morning asking if we’d done the “open psychometric character test” because hers revealed that she’s a “charming psycho”. (This was going around social media yesterday.) Obviously my mouth started watering. If you’re a regular visitor here, you know I love a quiz. A personality quiz is my weakness.
This quiz revealed that I’m 75% Beryl from Downton Abbey. She’s the cook – and she thinks she’s the boss of the whole place. I mean, I would say that’s pretty accurate, at least right now. Maybe it would have given me a different result if I’d taken the test before the pandemic. Currently, though, while we’re all isolating, I am indeed a f-cking ragey cook.
Interestingly enough, while my highest match is Beryl, my second highest at 73% is Timon from Lion King, LOL. Then Monica Geller from Friends WHO IS A CHEF tied with Donna Pinciotti from That 70s Show (weird, but OK), and rounding out the top 5, and this is the one I’m most proud of…
CJ Cregg from The West Wing!
I’ve attached my results as the feature photo to this post. I’ll let Duana discuss her exact findings on the next episode of Show Your Work. For some reason, she conveniently skipped over her top match (who’s a sexpot but not a “charming psycho”) and focused instead on #2 and #3.
So if you’re looking for something to do this weekend since, you know, you’re at home all weekend, take the quiz here and figure out your character. If you end up as Villanelle, please make me your Eve.
Yours in gossip,
Lainey
