It is June 1. It’s the beginning of Pride Month. Pride began at Stonewall, not as a parade but as a protest. They fought for their right to love. And while things may be better, there is still work to be done to secure LGBTQ+ equality. And their work now is also in support of Black Lives Matter – because there can be no true equality without intersectionality. That said, it is important also for members of the LGBTQ+ community to experience joy during the struggle. Here is a list of movies to celebrate Pride Month. (Pajiba)
