As mentioned earlier, Sam Lutfi was calling the shots at the hospital re: Britney’s medical care. Now TMZ.com is reporting that Lynne and Jamie have wrested power from the creepy manager and are now in full control of their daughter’s progress. Finally.

After too many years of exploiting her daughter and working her into the ground, perhaps Lynne is at last ready to be a mother and not a pimp. At last Britney might just have her mom back.

I miss my mom. Even though when she called me this morning - they’re still “wintering” in Hong Kong – after finding out I’m in Arizona, she reminded me to wear sunglasses. Not to protect my eyes but so my brow doesn’t furrow like my aunt Janet who “married a lazy man and looks like a duck landed on her nose and pecked out her youth”.

Then she told me that her couch was still lopsided from me sitting on it when I visited over Christmas. This of course was followed by a offhand piece of advice not to over-eat.

I love her.
