Matty Healy is engaged. His betrothed is model Gabbriette Bechtel and the way I’m choosing to read into this is that this marriage proposal was brought to us by The Tortured Poets Department, because I’m messy like that, but all three of these players are messy like that. Taylor Swift basically called Matty a gaslighting f-ckboy (is that redundant?) in her music and his response is now basically like, “F-ck you, you’re wrong, I’m getting married, so there!” (The Cut)

A beautiful piece by Tamara Podemski, who plays Aunt Teenie, on Reservation Dogs, on grief and the healing process after the death of her son. The part that got me was when she talks about learning to “trust life” again. It’s so succinct, but that’s exactly it. When you go through unimaginable trauma, how do you “trust life”? Trusting life is the essence of life – and when life has shown you the darkest part of living, it seems impossible to trust it again. And yet, as a “grief warrior”, this is Tamara’s reality. Thank you for this, Jessie!  (Asparagus Magazine)

I know Seth Meyers was probably hurting real f-cking bad after Day Drinking with Julia Louis-Dreyfus but I feel confident in saying that he has no regrets. It’s JLD! Who is in that rare club of people everyone loves. We all have opinions on celebrities and we rarely agree on who we like or dislike. But there are a few, like Dolly Parton and Celine Dion and Keanu Reeves, who are across the board beloved. And JLD has become one of them. She is the best in this episode of Day Drinking. Seth would have had the best hangover. (Pajiba)

I love the denim skirt that Sarah Jessica Parker is wearing in this scene from And Just Like That. I hate what she’s wearing on top, but I really, really, enjoy the skirt. The pleats, the frayed hem, the length, it’s so good, I want. (GoFugYourself)

Glen Powell’s Hitman is doing well on Netflix (but not in Canada where it’s not available, WTF) and The Mary Sue did the right thing by reminding us that there’s actually another great Glen Powell rom-com on Netflix that some people still might not have seen. And if that’s you, Set It Up. Do it now. (The Mary Sue)
