My favourite royal story of the week!
As you know, the Queen had tea with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle yesterday at Windsor Castle. Prince Charles, Camilla, Will, and Kate were also there for rehearsal. Right now it’s 230pm in England. As I’m writing this, the Queen is hosting Harry, Meghan, and Doria Ragland for tea in Windsor. The photo attached is of Harry and Meghan leaving Kensington Palace earlier. They are BEAMING. And why not? Today’s announcement of Prince Charles walking her down the aisle is a big win for everyone.
But this is not what I want to talk about right now.
What I want to talk about is this video of the Queen from yesterday…and look who’s in the backseat with her.
That’s a beagle! Meghan’s beagle, Guy! Guy is rolling with the Queen! Guy is the TRUE VIP.

A few days ago, people were wondering, after the Thomas Markle drama, whether or not the family f-cksh-t would affect how the Queen felt about Meghan. Well, clearly, Meghan has a secret weapon. The beagle is the secret weapon. During their engagement interview, Harry revealed that the Queen’s corgis like her better than they like him. And now the Queen is looking after Meghan’s dog. That’s a sign of something, non? You don’t just hand over your dog to anyone. And you don’t just take care of anyone’s dog.
