What Else?
Usually when someone gets a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, there are other celebrities who show up to honour them. They range from friends to former co-stars and if they’re promoting a movie or a series that’s about to come out, it’s often their castmates. Vince Vaughn got his star on the Walk of Fame and there was one recognisable name who attended his ceremony (although he didn’t dress for it) and, well, maybe that’s why it’s not getting the kind of coverage these events normally get? Bowen Yang is talking but not saying much about a guest host on Saturday Night Live who made multiple cast members cry. Who could it be?! (Pajiba)
I fell in love with Sha’Carri Richardson after Sprint. As soon as she stepped out for the women’s 100m final I knew she was tight, you could see it on her face. Sha’Carri is wide open with her emotions. So it was wonderful to see her bring the gold home in the 4x100m relay – and go viral. Because that glance to the side… was, indeed, iconic. And our very own Kathleen, because she’ll always be ours!, talked to her for a new piece about what Sha’Carri is doing next. (Refinery29)
I know, I know, we’re supposed to be over the Olympics. But so much good sh-t happened on the final weekend that I didn’t get to talk about it enough here. Did you watch the men’s basketball gold medal game? Did you see how Steph Curry went into another dimension? As Rob Mahoney writes in this piece for The Ringer, it was a “Golden Era” for Team USA that is now, probably, coming to an end. And challenging the next one to rise. (The Ringer)
Jennifer Lopez was seen stopping by Ben Affleck’s place for a five hour visit with the kids the other day and she also took his son, Samuel, shopping. She is still, technically, his stepmother. And they look like they have a great relationship. (Celebitchy)
