Only Murders in the Building returns next week on Hulu, and the premiere was yesterday in Los Angeles. The central trio of Steven Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez were there, joined by Meryl Streep, Jane Lynch, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph, as well as new season stars Zach Galifianakis, Kumail Nanjiani (along with his wife, Emily V. Gordon), and Molly Shannon. I really like these photos because co-stars actually dressed like they’re attending the same event for once.
I also like these photos for our favorite game, photo assumption. Martin Short and Meryl Streep were having fun at the premiere. They’re friends! They insist on it through their publicists! But they’re on the green carpet mugging like they KNOW what we’re all thinking, and they’re daring us to keep thinking it. And we will!
