The Wicked press tour has been 98% Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande and 2% Jonathan Bailey which I am not mad at because those are the people who command the most attention. However, when Michelle Yeoh makes an appearance, we must all sit up straight, open our eyes, wash our hair, and come correct with admiration and respect. She’s blonde now – fittingly maybe the best Asian blonde I have ever f-cking seen. THIS HAIR!!! (Go Fug Yourself)

The headline is that Denzel Washington is retiring after Gladiator II. The story then proceeds to list all the projects he’s committed to before retirement. So we are basically talking about this five years too soon, if that. King Lear, right now, will be his final role. Which is perfect. He can retire and then unretire to shoot a film with Daniel Day-Lewis and our minds will explode. (Pajiba)

The first thing Duana texted me this morning was the link to Keke Palmer’s interview with the LA Times. Duana was big on Keke a long, long, LONG time ago, well before everyone else caught up. So she was also probably the first to preorder Keke’s memoir. It doesn’t sound like Keke will be holding anything back. Her story about Ryan Murphy? My favourite. Because of how she sums it up. Keke evidently is not Ryan’s favourite – his loss. And she doesn’t begrudge him for it, she says she understands he has a business to run. But then rounds it all out by declaring that SHE TOO has a business to run. And his business schedule does not take precedence over hers. Amen. PS. People are trying to figure out who Keke’s racist co-star was: Emma Roberts or Lea Michele? Keke follows Emma on Instagram so… ? (Celebitchy)

Did you see that Reddit post that went viral about the man who shared that his wife up and left him right after election day when she found out how he voted? Her mic drop last statement to him is… excellent. If it’s true. And it may not be. But people believe it because this is a real FAFO thing that’s probably happening in relationships all over North America, and not just romantic ones.  (The Mary Sue)
