You know the Olympics have started because all the celebrities disappeared overnight. The entertainment industry always makes room for the Olympics, and compound that with Super Bowl weekend, outside of famous people going to sporting events, it’s going to be a dead few days.

So let us turn our attention to Naomi Watts in New York, doing press rounds for Love Story. She plays Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in the series, if you couldn’t tell from her very Jackie O-coded outfit, particularly the big dark glasses and the head scarf. Between Feud: Capote vs. The Swans, All’s Fair, and Love Story, Watts is becoming a Ryan Murphy regular, because he does consistently write juicy roles for women of a certain age. Not necessarily GOOD roles, mind you, but juicy. Although I think we’re all cautiously optimistic about Love Story after seeing the trailer.

Watts is also promoting the paperback release of her book, Dare I Say It: Everything I Wish I’d Known About Menopause, on February 10:

I am 43 and hoovering up all the information about menopause that I can. I want to be ready, I want to recognize the signs early, I want to hear everyone’s experiences. Everyone should talk about menopause all the time so that we can all be prepared. I remember my mom going through it largely in silence, only talking about what was happening in the vaguest terms when the hot flashes were just unbearable. No more of that! We talk, constantly, so that younger women are prepared!
