TMZ.com is reporting that Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have hired a wedding planner and have set the date for October 13th – less than two weeks away! Good date… 13 is a very, very lucky number, especially for a baby.

Having said that, the proximity of the occasion is curious – if only from a style perspective. Many believed Nicole would never walk the aisle until she’d starved herself back down to “normal” proportions. But Joel loves Jesus. And as such, he’d probably wants to avoid birthing a bastard.

Old fashioned but kinda cute all the same, non?
