At the time of writing, a joke tweet about Coach Taylor taking Viagra has 21k likes. And I am one of them. No one should look this hunky in a nylon jacket.

Celebrity Traitors UK doesn’t have a Canadian release date yet but this clip is making me cackle. He’s so pleased with himself!

Cruz Beckham, Romy Mars, and Magnus Ferrell are just a few of the nepo babies making their way in music. This year, Reading Festival had an unofficial “nepo stage” where Cruz, Violet Grohl, Moses Martin and Gene Gallagher appeared. There’s also Stella Lefty, who I don’t really count in this group because she comes from a very wealthy family but no one cares about the founder of Groupon. On the contrary, people care if your mom was a Spice Girl or your dad is in Oasis. I’m not discounting wealth and its advantages but I think having parents that are famous and well-liked is double-decker nepotism.

Taylor Kitsch is building a non-profit in Montana centered around nature-based trauma healing. Its website specifically names programs for veterans, sexual assault survivors, people in recovery from addiction, and grief. It’s currently under construction but I perused the team page and I didn’t see any doctors, counsellors, or mental health professionals on this list.  It’s early days but I’m curious as to how these programs will be shaped.

Vogue covered what happens when Hudson Williams wears one of your pieces and this is the kind of fashion journalism I love because it gets into detail. Hudson wore The Journey cardigan by Indigenous designer Judson Jacob Louis to the Kate Spade New York Global Summit on Women’s Mental Health event, an official appearance for the Heated Rivalry team that Lainey covered here. It happened on September 30th, The National Day of Truth and Reconciliation in Canada. His team tracked down the sweater, sent someone to pick it up, and paid for it. I’m pointing it out because that’s not the norm for a lot of stylists, who expect indie designers to bend over backwards to give their clients free stuff. Clearly Hudson’s team doesn’t operate that way. The story also specifies the monetary gain in sales, which is really interesting because it’s a tangible measurement of Hudson’s influence. This isn’t just “exposure” (aka giving celebrities and influencers free stuff for some nebulous gain).
