In a surprise move, Marvel dropped the first trailer for Captain America: Civil War last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live (thanks to some Grade-A studio f*ckery, expect to see a new trailer from DC soon, too). Media Manipulation No one else is in the ring The Revenant has been screening in LA for Academy members the last few days and the response has been very, very positive. As you know, The Revenant is Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s follow-up to Birdman, the reigning Best Picture. As you know, the shoot was difficult, it was delayed, By Lainey • Nov 25, 2015 09:54 am

Celebrity Social Media Smutty Social Media, November 24, 2015 At least Nick Jonas had something to distract him from Coldplay’s embarrassing performance. I wish a giant ball had bounced through my living room during the gorilla dance. We almost lost one of the good ones last night at the AMAs. During Coldplays performance these giant light up balls By Maria • Nov 24, 2015 04:27 pm
Xenu How Will presents Will Have you read The Hollywood Reporter Actors Roundtable transcript that I mentioned this morning yet? Beyond the humour courtesy of Sam Jackson, there’s a lot of insight here, specifically from Will Smith, about Will Smith. It’s in his answer to being asked why he decided not to be By Lainey • Nov 24, 2015 03:56 pm
Lifestyle Carpets & Candids: Elizabeth’s pretty dots and roses This dress is totally prommy, no doubt. It’s also exquisite. The print is lovely. I like how the dots smear the roses. And I like how the roses light up at the right angles. Also the side bustle? Doesn’t always work for me but here, I like it By Lainey • Nov 24, 2015 03:40 pm
Movie Reviews and Previews Tom Hardy is BANANAS in Legend Unfortunately, the movie does not live up to the totally insane bar that Tom Hardy is setting. In Legend Hardy stars as Ronnie and Reggie Kray, a pair of Cockney gangster twins in the London of the swinging 1960s. Reggie Kray is relatively straight-laced, the twin with the business By Sarah • Nov 24, 2015 03:19 pm
Lifestyle Carpets & Candids: Victoria's tuxedo I bought a gorgeous tuxedo this year. I've worn it once so far. Will wear it again for a thing in a couple of weeks. I will keep wearing it for years until it doesn't fit me anymore. An investment. It's not black though. By Lainey • Nov 24, 2015 02:34 pm
BFFs Won't use that word Adele, Emma Stone, and Jennifer Lawrence went out for dinner in New York last night. This is very, very exciting to me. I want to know if they got sh-tfaced. I want to know who they gossiped about. Don't tell me Adele doesn't gossip. Adele By Lainey • Nov 24, 2015 02:17 pm
Lifestyle Carpets & Candids: 2 hits for twigs I really like FKA twigs's commitment to pant creativity. This all black jumpsuit would have been fine if it was just a dress but it's special now that you know it's pants on the bottom. And when you're going to collect a By Lainey • Nov 24, 2015 01:54 pm

Media Manipulation Guess who else is still alive? Really, though, this one has always been obvious. The first teaser for Game of Thrones season six has arrived in the form of a poster of none other than Lord Crow himself, Jon Snow. There’s blood on his eye, even though he was stabbed in the stomach, so I By Sarah • Nov 24, 2015 11:52 am
Lifestyle Carpets & Candids: Kate’s complicated dress It looks complicated to me, with all those wraps and tucks. That doesn’t mean it’s not a great dress on her though because it is. I quite like the little cut-out at the hip on one side from the front and definitely the party in the back. By Lainey • Nov 24, 2015 11:41 am
Bad Style Not the visual I had in mind Like many of you, I thought I’d want to see a photo of Brad Pitt and Ryan Gosling side by side. At one time, I thought that might be photo I could add to my spank bank. Right now, my spank bank consists mostly of Charlie Hunnam. Sometimes a By Lainey • Nov 24, 2015 11:28 am
