Pedro and Grogu green
Pedro Pascal, who is no stranger to the Met Gala, was not at the Met Gala this year. He has other priorities – like work. The Mandalorian and Grogu opens in just over two weeks and the press tour is now underway. On Monday, Pedro was with Jon Favreau and Sigourney Weaver in Berlin.
It goes without saying, The Mandalorian and Grogu is a big priority for Disney/Lucasfilm, the first Star Wars movie in seven years, the Star Wars movie with the lowest budget since the relaunch in 2015 and the first television-to-film spinoff of the Star Wars universe so a lot of people are paying a lot of attention to the box office and current projections are modest-ish, at $80 million for opening weekend and it’ll be interesting to see how analysts and executives spin the results once the actual figures are in.
Pedro, then, is focused entirely on pushing this movie, May 4th for him was Star Wars Day, not the first Monday in May. It’s common knowledge how invested he is in this character and also how much he loves Grogu. So much that in Berlin… can we say he was wearing Grogu green? That is the Baby Yoda shade of green, non?
Pedro is a Chanel ambassador, and while Chanel doesn’t officially make menswear, the original Chanel codes are inspired by menswear – and Matthieu Blazy has leaned into much of the Coco aesthetic. Besides, Pedro’s fits are custom anyway, plural because he wore Chanel again at the Paris fan event yesterday.
Sorry, I don’t mean to take it down to the most primitive, but he is HOT AS F-CK right now – boyfriend, husband, f-ckboy, he’s giving all of the above. He was photographed with Sigourney walking around Paris today with his windbreaker unzipped and, like, if that's the way he wants to sell it, then sold. I honestly don’t have a lot of interest in Mandalorian and Grogu but I will now go see this movie, based solely on how thirsty I am for this man.

We’re in the final weeks of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert – and anyone else. Because … well… CBS claims they have valid reasons but a lot of people have opinions about the real reasons. And David Letterman definitely has an opinion, which he shared with the New York Times. And just in case he wasn’t clear enough about it, he doubled down. (Pajiba)
Here’s a sweeter Rihanna moment from the Met Gala that should be getting just as much play, if not more, than the video of her with Rocky after the event. Watch her exchange with Sheinelle Jones – the affection between them is wonderful. Also… RiRi knows Bravo and fashion and she’s up on all the journalists, how online is she?! (The Root)
The Sheep Detectives is Hugh Jackman’s highest rated movie ever, which is ironic because I feel like he’s not as popular as he used to be, like as a celebrity. We won’t get into the reasons for that. All I’m here to say is that I have heard so many great things about this movie but I’m afraid to see it because I know the sheep will make me cry. (Mamamia)
